Hey there sea changers, and welcome back to my series of MLM reviews. Today we are going to a take another look into the ever popular CBD Oil market with my Arieyl MLM Review. This is a staple niche within the area of network marketing with a number of opportunities for those looking to cash in within this space. So, what is the Arieyl MLM all about? Let's have a look and below…
What is MLM?
Multi-level marketing (MLM) programs are the traditional mainstay of the ‘party plan' world of products such as Tupperware, Mary Kay and Amway etc. and, of course within the CBD oil and supplements markets. Interest in CBD Oil in particular has exploded in recent years and as MLMs have become more popular – mainly due to the fact that much of the sales and marketing is now being managed online – there more and more options are available here as well.

You too can start your very own online business here that can make you money from anywhere in the world!!
The ‘multi level' aspects of MLM come from its hierarchical nature in which you make commissions based not only on those that you sell to, but also the sales of those whom you ‘sign' into membership arrangements as well.
In short, the process works as follows:
- You join the program, either via referral from another person (known as your up line) or directly through their website.
- You promote the products of the company via parties, workshops or online.
- As you make sales, you offer incentives to your customers to sign up as a member of the program (there are different names for this but they all mean the same thing).
- That new member is then placed ‘underneath' you in a hierarchical arrangement (known as your down line).
- You, and a number of levels of your up line, then gain extra commissions for everything they sell as well.
- If they manage to refer their customers into memberships, they also become a member of your down line allowing you to make up line commissions as well.
The number of levels of your up and down lines will vary depending on the program you have joined. Commission rates will also change as your down line grows or contracts and many will also offer other incentives such as total company sales percentages and/or access to membership prizes as your own business grows.
Who are Arieyl?
Arieyl was founded by Kristen and Travis Butler with a mission to “create an opportunity for people just like them to live out their craziest dreams”. This is definitely one of those programs that has been built as a MLM program first and retail organisation second with everything on the site pointing towards the opportunity to earn cash.
Arieyl is based in St Cloud, FL in the United States.
What do they Sell?
As above, Arieyl are focused on the CBD oil side of things with a range of products in the following categories:
- Gummies
- Tinctures
- Capsules
- Supplements
- Pet Chews
- Skin care
Item costs appear to fall into the medium price range of around $80 to $100 per piece keeping in line with competitors such as Hempworx and Zillis. And from what I could see within Arieyl product reviews and Arieyl weight loss reviews, the products do appear to be of decent quality and standards as well.
MLM Program outline
Base Commission rate: 20%
Down line commission rates: 1 – 50% to 10 levels (level 1 down line is 30%)
Minimum monthly spend to qualify for commissions
To qualify for downline commissions, Rockstars are required to meet monthly autoship BV targets of at least 35 per month. And from what I can find, this can be only be made of customer sales. New Rockstars are also required to become ‘Commission Qualified' in their first month via:
- Purchase of a business builder kit.
- Generation of at least 150 PV made up of customer sales (again from what I can tell, personal purchases to do not count).
- Choose to process an optional 35 BV autoshipment for Rockstar Rank or 90 BV for Gold Ranks and higher.
Base 20% sales commissions however can be earned without the need to meet or maintain sales targets.
Payment terms: Weekly and Monthly.
Application required?: Yes, Application form on website.
Purchase requirements to join: Yes
New Rockstars are required to purchase a Business Builder kits to become commission qualified. I could not find any record of the cost of these on the website however external research shows cost to start at around $25 + product. There is also mention of an annual fee in some areas as well.
Marketing materials provided: Not stated.
Within most MLM programs, rankings and commissions are determined by the total personal volume (PV) generated by the Rockstar and their down line within a calendar month with points assigned to each product. These point allocations can range from 50 to 100% of the retail price of each product (before tax and shipping) and vary from item to item and currency of sale.
In the case of the Arieyl MLM program, I was unable to locate any calculation as to how PV and BV (business volume) points are calculated.

How can I get paid?
The compensation plan outlines 10 ways in which Rockstars can make money when they promote and sell Arieyl products. These are fairly straight forward and there are a few of the extra bonuses found in many other MLM arrangements – especially within the CBD Oil MLM industry. The 10 payment options for the Arieyl MLM program are outlined as follows:
1. Personal Sales Commission
These are the base commissions earned by the general day to day retail sales that Rockstars can generate via parties, popups, social media or online via their personalized website. This is calculated on the difference between the VIP purchase price available to the Rockstar and the retail price paid by the customer and sits at around 20%.
No minimum sales targets apply to earn personal sales commissions.
2. Fast Money
Fast Money is Arieyl's version of the traditional unilevel commission structures prevalent within many MLM programs. Within the Arieyl MLM program, commissions are paid to 10 levels based on the rank of the Rockstar as follows:
To qualify for Fast Money commissions (and all further payment options below), Rockstars are required to meet a minimum autoship sales target of 35BV for the base ‘Rockstar' rank and then 90BV for all others from Gold and above.
3. Way to Slay Bonus
Any Rockstar who is able to advance to the rank of Ruby or above within their first calendar month of operation will earn a Way to Slay bonus of $500.
Note: The Way To Slay bonus is paid over 2 consecutive months and the rank also has to be maintained within that period.
4. Royalty Residuals (Binary)
The Royalty Residuals payment incorporates a common binary payment system where 20% of the GV (Group Volume) is paid on the sales on the Rockstar's lesser binary leg. Payments are generated on re-orders (i.e. not new customer/downline sales) of VIP and Retail customers sales within the Rockstar's downline each month.
To qualify, Rockstars must:
- Meet rank BV targets.
- Generate at least 90BV from personally enrolled Rockstars in each leg.
- Generate at least 300BV in each leg.
5. Rockstar Check Matching
The Rockstar Check Matching payment is a commonly utilised network marketing payment option where Rockstars earn a percentage of all binary commissions generated within their organisation as follows:
6. Rock Bonuses
The Rock Bonuses are another commonly utilised network marketing payment option that rewards Rockstars for advancing up to the higher ranks within the program. In this case, one-time bonuses can be earned as follows:
New Ranks must be maintained for three months before the bonus is paid.
7. Reign Bonus
Once a Rockstar earns the Rock Bonus, they then qualify for the Reign Bonus as below based on the rank that they can maintain for that month:
8. Legacy Bonus
As a follow on from the Reign Bonus, Rockstars who are able to maintain their rank and receive that payment over the stipulated 20 month period, will continue to receive the payment as a legacy bonus at the level that they can maintain.
9. Loyalty Bonus
This is not yet stipulated within the compensation plan but highlights future payments for Rockstars who manage to remain active over a 36-month period.
10. Incentive Trips and Prizes
As with many MLM Programs, Rockstars can earn extra prizes and qualify for incentive trips based on sales generated and rank achieved.
Ranking structure
Arieyl, as with most MLM programs, uses ranking structures on which to base commission payments and other bonuses upon. Rankings for the Arieyl MLM program are as follows (note team sales qualification targets as well):
Again, as is common with almost all MLM programs, rank progression is determined by both the number of members within the Rockstar's down line, and the total sales made by those members per month. Ranks can rise and fall based on the ability (or dis-ability) to reach the required member and sales targets.
What is good about it?
So, after a good look around the site and looking at all the options I could find, I do like the following:
- Commission rates for entry level sales are good.
- Downline commissions are also very good.
- Base retail commissions can be earned without the need to meet sales targets.
What is no so good about it?
There are also some things to be aware of including:
- There are some joining costs.
- Some information in the compensation plan (such as BV calculations etc.) is ambiguous or missing.
- Sales generation cannot include personal purchases.
How much can you make?
Arieyl does not provide an income disclosure statement on its website and I could not locate it in other Arieyl reviews, however as with most MLM programs, it has to be assumed from the compensation plan that the percentage of members making the upper rank levels – and hence earning a living – is very low (usually less than 1%).
My final thoughts
Look, MLM is not an easy platform to make money in and even though base and downline commission rates are quite high, there is not much that I have seen here to put this program above the many others I have seen. However, the program does contain a common commission arrangements and some good bonus options so if you are passionate about these products with a large customer list at your disposal and the ability to generate good sales via online processes, then the 20% base commission rates might just appeal here.
Once you have joined, there are not the usual financial pressures of needing to make minimum personal purchases in order to qualify for commissions however if you fall short, you are not able to make personal purchases as a top up to remain ‘Commission Qualified'. I would also recommend doing some more research into BV point calculations as well prior to joining.
As this company is rather new at time of writing I was unable to locate any negative reviews in terms of non-payment etc. although there were some negative comments about the quality of customer service and the MLM program itself – although it was not really anything that is uncommon in regards to MLM programs or products within this niche.
Legal Issues
I did locate in my research a legal undertaking by another company called My Daily Choice (owner of Hempworx and others) however this appears to be around copyright infringement and not about the MLM program itself.

Looks like a classic product based pyramid scheme:
1. The founder has some heartbreaking from rags to riches story and he is regarded as some kind of spiritual leader among the following.
2. Exstremely overpriced products concerning weightloss, health and bodycare with no or little clinical documentation as the marketing is based on testemonials from the followers.
3. An incomprehensible compensationplan that gives the impression that it will be rather unproblematic to make a significant income in this business model.
4. A large number of ranks with silly names as Rockstar and Ruby. Promotion to a higher rank demands that you recruit a downline and this downline must also reach certain ranks or you will no be eligible for commission.
5. You must maintain a certain Personal Volume each month or you will not be regarded as “active”.
So by joining Arieyl you are but a loyal customer working on the as an unpaid sales rep peddling overpriced products will little or no effect.
