As you are probably aware, one of the main focuses of this site is to assist you in finding good ways to earn money online so that you can fund your own sea change in whatever fashion that may be for you. Those of you familiar with my work will also know that I like to point out what it good and not so good out there so you don’t get burnt with the scams. Hence, when I find a site that tells me that I can ethically hijack sites for free traffic with 1 click, then I am going to try it out. So with that in mind – welcome to my Borrowify Review.

Ok, so there are two main things I want to check out here – firstly, can I really hijack sites for free traffic with 1 click? And secondly, is the $14 I paid for it worth the money?

Can I hijack sites for free traffic with 1 click? – You can definitely hijack sites (although I could not get one to let me use their URL) but the whole setup is definitely longer than 1 click.

Is it worth the $14? – No – you would be better off spending your money on a plugin that will help build your site SEO.

Do I recommend it? – translated to “Am I happy with what I have got for my $14?” – No

I will elaborate more on all of this below…

What is Borrowify?

So, as it turns out, Borrowify is a WordPress plugin that allows you to upload URLs from other websites, attach an email list optin or sales page CTA and then promote it via your social media or paid ads. The idea is that you are choosing interesting news stories or online articles that attract your readers leading them to action your CTAs.

It should be noted here that nowhere on the sales pages does it state that this product is a WordPress plugin hence you need to have a WordPress website for this to work. So if you don’t have one, don’t purchase this product.

What do you get?

Once you access your links via an email sent to you then you are presented with the following:

Bonus Content

The first section gives you access to their bonus options such as:

• Lifetime autoresponders
• Lifetime Cloud drive
• Lifetime website builder
• Lifetime hosting
• Editable logos
• Leadpages software (another plugin)
• Other bonuses from ‘partners’

The first four options on this page sent my firewall and virus software into a meltdown so unfortunately I am unable to clarify on their use. The lead pages option is another WordPress plug in – I did not install it.

From here, I received an email with my login in details taking me to a support page where I can download my WordPress plugin.

I downloaded and installed to my site, entered my license key and (insert wrong answer sound here) – invalid license key!! After copy and pasting again as well as entering manually it was time to enter a support ticket. Let’s stop for a drink and wait for a response…

Ok, so that is all fixed (their support got back to me within the hour which is good) and I have my plug in installed as per the above screen shot. From here I can complete the following:

Training and Tutorial

The training section comprises of two 1.5 minute videos giving a very quick outline of the plug in and how it works.

The problems is (and the reason I have added the video above), I could however not get a single website URL to load – I tried all of the main sites on the sales page (CNN etc.), a link from one of my own sites and even the main sales page to this platform.

Anyway, back to the support team I go… I will update the post if I get it working.

Post Update: I heard back from Support (again within a quick timeframe) who were able to load the URL from their end. I am still unable to do so and after speaking with my web host it appears that my server security settings will not allow for this sort of integration to occur. It may be worth checking on your own webhost security settings prior to purchase.

I have not completed any further tasks within this program.

Do I recommend it?

Look, even if this one did work, there are many, many programs like this that would work better for you. You will only get more traffic if you have a good social media following that will click on your ‘bait’ links to opt in to your email list or go to your sales pages.

Now to the original sales pitch…

You will NOT have anything up and running in 1 click – even of you have all of your background requirements in order. And if you don’t have a good social media following or are not willing to pay for ads, then you will not get all that traffic anyway.
