This is a ‘make money online’ site that outlines how you set up your own EASY $5k per month business by working with restaurants etc.to increase their customer social media check ins, and hence, sales.

Checkin socimasters review - sales pitch

I have never hidden the fact that I believe that success within the online world is never quick and easy so I thought I would check this one out to see if I really could make an ‘easy’ $5k per month.

For this review, I will run you through:

  • What it is
  • How it works
  • Pros and Cons
  • Cost
  • My recommendations

Oh, and to quickly answer the question above….. Can I make an EASY $5k per month? … I actually think that you could make money with this training. Will it be easy? No, no it will not – you will need to do the work…

On that note, let’s check it all out…..

What is CheckIn SociMasters?

CheckIn SociMasters is a set of training materials and templates designed to assist you in earning money from restaurants (and I am assuming others businesses that could benefit from social media check ins) with an “ultra-simple way of getting practically everyone who visits a restaurant to check in via Facebook…”

In short the process is as follows:

Checkin socimasters review - process

Basically, their ‘easy’ process entails sending their “done for you” template letter to restaurants etc. outlining to them how you can help them increase sales by providing an ‘enticement’ to get those visiting them to check in on their phone. By doing this, the promoters predict that as you are working with FaceBook algorithms that make personal content display more prominently on news feeds that sponsored posts or paid advertising.

Your money is made by charging the restaurant owners to manage this process for them.

What do you get?

Ok, so once you have paid your $17, you are given access to 7 modules (and a couple of bonuses) which provide you with PDF training, videos and the templates allowing you to get started and make some money. The seven modules are outlined as follows:

Note: the promoters have outlined that these prices are due to raise by $10 each in the very near future (at time of writing obviously) so if they are more expensive by the time you get to it then that is why…

Do I recommend it?

Look, this is one that has really got me thinking. I will start with the processes which if I am being honest, appears to be quite sound. I mean that is what most online marketers do – contact potential clients and outline ways and means by which they could assist them to grow their business via online strategies. So in that vein, for the low cost of $17 then I sort of think it is definitely one of those products that might just be worth the investment.

That said, I guess the thing that I have struggled with on this one is the fact that it is promoted as being easy to do – especially if you are doing this “without leaving the comfort of your home”. What I am saying here is that online business building takes time and whilst I can’t see anything that sticks out to make me say that you can’t make money with these processes, I just want you to be aware that this will take time – and certainly some extra costs if you are looking at email autoreponders travel and your time etc. As an example, I get between 5 and 10 emails a day from social marketing managers who tell me they can build my business 10 fold via social media. So a single email to a restaurant owner – regardless of how well it is written – is definitely one of things I think also needs to be considered here.

Oh, and one final thought that if you are going to sign these owners up to a ‘monthly’ subscription model, then you will need to be doing a little more such as:

  • Researching base customer demographics
  • Monitoring restaurant sales numbers – and adjusting if current promotion is not working
  • General process management – emails and so on
  • Visiting them regularly to discuss results and strategy

All of which takes time.

So what does that all mean – look, for the PDFs and training videos alone, then it is not a bad option for the $17 – Just be prepared to do the work and nurture a business, outline how you can stand out from the crowd in a saturated market and you may just be successful here…

How does it compare to my #1 Recommendation?

If I am bring honest, it is probably not fair to really compare CheckIn SociMasters with my #1 recommendation in Welathy Affiliate. However, since this is effectively a training module looking to assist you in setting up you own online business, then I recommend that you also give Wealthy Affiliate a try. From there, you could use the products within CheckIn SociMasters

to assist you with your social media business down the track a little if you saw the need. I have said yes within the recommendation section below for this product based on the my findings above whereas the process does appear to be sound and could work if managed as a long term prospect.
