As with the program above, they have a good number of products across a number of niches including:

The site promotes itself as “here to help everyone make better choices” and to be ethical and cruelty-free in every aspect of their businesses. Again, this site is certainly large enough to base an environmentally sound affiliate business around or as a side option for any of the category niches listed above.

Another all encompassing eco friendly site to take a look at is The Clean Collective. Promoting themselves as “Australia's strictest toxin-free shop and savviest source of zero-waste solution”, they also offer a massive range of products available within the following categories:

As mentioned above, the company operates to the strictest of standards and assess all stocked brands for their safety and sustainability to choose what's best for health and for the planet. As with most others listed above, there is also a great blog outlining product selection, environmentally sound behaviours and research results. Again, choose this site as a base or as an added option to the niche categories listed above.

Every second month, subscribers receive 4-5 cruelty-free, toxin free, vegan products, with mainly full size non-toxic beauty and skincare, healthy snacks, wellness products, and eco style accessories.
The company carries a good range of well-known brands, all of which are cruelty-free, vegan, non-toxic and organic. Again, there is not enough here to sustain an affiliate business on its own however as with most programs above, it would make a great addition to any healthy lifestyle, vegan living, eco-friendly, food, beauty, fashion, wellness or mommy/family blogger sites.

Now looking from a different angle, we have Essentia. Essentia is a Canadian, organically based company that sells “the world's only natural memory foam mattress”. Their product list is specialised around bedding with a solid range of:

Each mattress is produced in Essentia’s GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic factory with all natural ingredients and no chemical inclusions (in areas such as fire retardants etc.). This would make a great addition to any environmentally based, bedding, home renovation or interior design based business.

Teemill is an online platform that allows anyone to build their own website and sell sustainable products. They are the first fashion company to use a circular economy with their products made from natural materials, in a renewable powered factory. Furthermore, everything they make is designed from the start to come back to them when it's worn out so there is zero waste.
There is probably not enough here to build an affiliate marketing business around on its own however with 67% of consumers considering sustainable materials to be a factor in purchasing a fashion item there is a definite market here for creators, bands, artists and brands looking for a more sustainable alternative for their merchandise.
And with a lifetime revenue share, there is an exciting opportunity to get in early before Teemill becomes mainstream.

And finally we look at a site that is doing its best to directly impact the environment in Click A Tree. Click A Tree is the “planet’s most holistically sustainable reforestation organization” where their process is simple – find a location that interests you, such as trees for elephants in Asia for example, purchase a tree for that area and it is planted on your behalf.
This site would obviously make a great addition to any affiliate business based on the environment (including any utilising the sites above). There is also some great information on this site to assist with blog post ideas for you and assistance to your readers.

How to find your own affiliate programs
As stated earlier, by outlining the sites above I have really just tried to give you a good cross section of the types of programs that are out there by listing the really good ones in each ‘category'. That does not mean that you cannot find affiliate programs that better suit what it is that you are trying to do within this space especially as I could never even begin to cover every environmentally sound requirement or sub niche in the one post. Luckily for us, there is a simple way to find these programs online.
All you need to do is enter “affiliate: niche type” into your search engine (substituting ‘niche type‘ for whatever product it is that you are choosing to sell).
There are eco friendly affiliate programs for just about every niche that you can think of – you will just need to have a look around until you find one or two that suit your site. Once you have completed your searches, you can look through and find programs that:
- Relate to your niche/problems that you are solving.
- Have quality products – your brand can be severely damaged if you promote poor quality products.
- Have solid payment and customer service arrangement.
- Pay decent commissions.
- Have good testimonials covering commission payouts and quality of product.
In most cases, you will need to apply for the program before you are allowed to promote their products – don’t take this step lightly or you will be rejected. Affiliate programs will generally want to know:
- Your website name.
- Traffic levels.
- Why you want to join – (so I can make money by selling your organic shopping bags is unfortunately not generally a good enough answer).
- How you plan to promote their products.
