Hey there sea changers, and welcome back to my series of MLM reviews for those of you looking to supplement your sea change income by building yourself an online Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business. Today we take another look into what is a booming industry at the moment with my Changing The Future Outcome CBD Oil MLM Review. Why is it booming? Because as CBD Oils and their related products gain interest via more research and become legalised in more and more countries around the globe, the market for them is increasing. So, Is Changing The Future Outcome MLM Worth Joining – let’s have a look and see…
What is MLM?
Multi-level marketing (MLM) programs are the mainstay of the ‘party plan’ world of products such as Tupperware, Mary Kay and Amway etc. and, recently, becoming more and more prevalent within the CBD oils market. One of the reasons for this is that much of the sales and marketing for MLMs is now being managed online – alleviating the need to run parties – and, more importantly, not hassle everybody you know to join (you can of course, but you don’t have to).

The ‘multi level’ aspects of MLM come from its hierarchical nature in which you make commissions based not only on those that you sell to, but also the sales of those whom you ‘sign’ into membership arrangements as well.
In short, the process works as follows:
- You join the program, either via referral from another person (known as your up line) or directly through their website.
- You promote the products of the company via parties, workshops or online.
- As you make sales, you offer incentives to your customers to sign up as a member of the program (there are different names for this but they all mean the same thing).
- That new member is then placed ‘underneath’ you in a hierarchical arrangement (known as your down line – you are commonly known as their sponsor).
- You, and a number of levels of your up line, then gain extra commissions for everything they sell as well.
- If they manage to refer their customers into memberships, they also become a member of your down line allowing you to make up line commissions as well.
The number of levels of your up and down lines will vary depending on the program you have joined. Commission rates will also change as your down line grows or contracts and many will also offer other incentives such as total company sales percentages and/or access to membership prizes as your own business grows.
Changing The Future Outcome MLM: Who Are They?
Changing the Future Outcome (CTFO) is a CBD oil company based in New Orleans in the United States. Founded by Stuart Finger, Steve Finger and Michael Hahn in 2015, they promote themselves as being “founded by network marketers, for network marketers”. It is obvious from their blurb that CTFO was founded as a network marketing company (or MLM) first, and a CBD oils producer second and that they offer a compensation plans that stack the odds in favour of their associates.
In terms of their products however, all are manufactured in Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) certified facilities under FDA regulations. They also supply a complete Certificate of Analysis catalogue on their website.
What do they sell?
CTFO offers a full range of CBD Oil based products including:
- 10xPURE – CBD Oil products
- CBD Drops
- CBD Edibles
- CBD Luxury Products
- CBD Relief Creams
- CBD Pet Products
- CBD Skin Products
- CBD Hair Growth Products
- CBD Sun Care
These products can be purchased individually or as part of ‘business builder packs' ranging from $299.97 (Sliver Packs) up to $1199.97 (Platinum).
As an added cross sell opportunity, CTFO also provide a small range of Non-CBD meal replacement and dietary supplements as well as Non CBD oil skin products.
CTFO MLM Program outline
The CTFO MLM program calls its members Associates and at first glance, it is a fairly stock standard program. And to start on a positive note, information in regards to this program is fairly comprehensive and easy to find on their site. Here are the basics:
Wholesale Discount: 25% and up depending on product
Base Commission rate: 20% of the commissionable volume (CV)
Down line commission rates: up to 10% to 7 levels and a further 1% per level to 21 levels for higher ranks (1st generation (down line level 1) rates 20%).
Minimum monthly spend to qualify for commissions
To qualify for commissions, you must become a qualified associate by either:
- Making a purchase of a product or package with a sales price of at least $47.47 within your first 31 Days as an associate, or
- Personally signing at least 10 other people to the program (as customers or associates)
Payment terms: Weekly and monthly.
Application required?: Yes, personal and payment information required.
Purchase requirements to join: No
Commission earning qualifications are listed above however this is not mandatory as an associate if you can refer 10 customers to the site. As far as I can see, there are no minimum monthly purchase requirements to obtain commissions once you are qualified.
Marketing materials provided: Personalised marketing website, contact manager, a tracking back office and free personalised training calls.
As with most MLM programs, commissions are paid on the number of Commissional Volume (CV) points assigned to the total sales of you and your downline. The CV is roughly 50% of the wholesale price assigned to each product. CV points vary per product but are generally allocated and 1 point per $2 spent. So, commissions here are paid on roughly 50% of the sales price. But feel free to correct me in the comments below if I have this wrong.
Downline commissions and rankings are determined by the total Personal Team Volume (PTV) that you and those of your down line generate in a calendar month. As far as I can see, there are no minimum monthly purchases required to qualify for these commissions. Most MLM programs manage it this way so as to be able to assign higher BV points to items they are trying to move, and to ensure that they are not overpaying for items that may cost them more to manufacture. Also, to ensure that you are getting sales based results rather than simply signing people up whom don’t purchase.

How can I get paid?
This program promotes 5 ways in which you can make money when you promote and sell their products – plus a ranking bonus. These are quite standard for a MLM program with commission rates designed to reward those that rise through the ranking system – i.e. commission earning opportunities rise as your rank increases. Below are the ways that you can earn within the CTFO program:
Unilevel Pay
Unilevel pay is the stock standard commission structure shared by most MLM programs. With CTFO, you earn commissions to 5 levels as you, and your downline introduce new qualified associates to your network. Commissions are paid as below:
Regeneration Matrix Pay
The Regeneration Matrix Pay is promoted by CTFO as the payment plan that stands them out from the rest via the creation of Profit Sharing Positions (PSPs). PSPs are assigned to you for every person you enrol (after the first 3) regardless of where they fit in your downline and pay a percentage of their CV down to 21 levels. Commission rates are as follows:
Infinity Bonus Pay
The Infinity Bonus Pay is CTFO's plan to allow its higher ranks to “retire wealthy”. In essence however, it is similar to most other MLM programs where higher ranks are paid extra commissions if they are able increase the total sales within their downline teams. CTFO call it their 3 – 5 year plan which I actually like as it makes it clear that this is the time frame it should take you to get to this point. In this case, those commissions are as follows:
Business Builder Pack Fast Start Pay
If you can convince your downline members to purchase Business Builder Packs (especially at sign up) then you qualify for the Business Builder Pack Fast Start Pay. These the paid on the packs that YOU sell and the more you sell, the more you earn:
Commissions earned are dependent upon the type of pack purchased and their category – i.e. Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Business Builder Pack Team Pay
The Business Builder Pack Team Pay option works similar to the Business Builder Pack Fast Start Pay option above in that you are paid bonuses on each pack your downline manages to sell as well. Payments are again determined on the category of pack bought and are as follows:
Ranking structure
As you have probably noticed, the commissions and bonuses paid out above are reliant upon the ‘rank’ that you are assigned within the CTFO MLM program. This ranking structure is quite straight forward with commission qualifications rising based on your total monthly PTV, the number of underlings you have within your down line and of course, how much they sell/purchase in a calendar month (measured in CV). The compensation plan lists rank qualifications as follows:
What else do you get?
On top of the potential earning methods outlined above, CTFO also offers the following bonus option for those who make consistent purchases or achieve higher rankings within the program:
One Time Rank Advancement Bonus
The One Time Rank Advancement Bonus is one that is also common with many MLM structures in that you are paid a once off bonus for each new rank that you are able to attain. Rank bonus payments are as follows:
Note: you must maintain your new rank for 8 payment periods to qualify for the payment.
What is good about it?
So, after a good look around the site and looking at all the options I could find, I do like the following:
- Commission rates for base level sales are quite good.
- CBD oil based products are a booming niche.
- Information in regards to their MLM program is easy to find.
- There are no personal purchase requirements to maintain commissions.
What is no so good about it?
There are also some things to be aware of including:
- The Compensation plan is a little confusing.
- Not as many ways to earn as some other programs.
- Very few extra bonus structures or incentives.
How much can you make?
I was unable to find an actual plan of expected incomes per rank level for CTFO however they do state within their compensation plan that joining the program is no guarantee that you will make any money from it.
My final thoughts
So Is Changing The Future Outcome MLM Worth Joining? I guess the driving point here is that in their blurb, the company outlines how they wanted to start a company that “stacked the odds in the favour of the associates”. Look, MLM is not an easy platform to make money in at the best of times but there is nothing here that appears to make this program easier than any other. And certainly nothing that stands out as being a new way of thinking when it comes to network marketing.
That said, the CTFO program does not raise any real red flags for me and seems to be on par with most others within this niche (such as HB Naturals and Hempworx) with ample opportunity to earn if you can attract and nurture a down line. There is plenty of information available ( which trust me, is rarely the case) so if you are passionate about CBD oils and like this brand, then to be honest I cannot see much in there that would cause me to earn you off.
The joining process is quite simple and from a startup point of view, there are not the usual financial pressures of needing to make minimum purchases in order to qualify for commissions. Although to be honest, I think if you are going to succeed in any MLM program, you will need to be intricately aware of the products you are promoting – meaning I think some purchases will be necessary.
I was unable to locate any negative reviews in terms of non-payment or poor quality products for this site however there was some negative comments about the MLM program itself – although it was not really anything that is uncommon in regards to MLM programs.
CBD oil legalities
Finally, before you rush of into this program, I would advise that you do some solid research into the market in which you plan to promote these products. For example, where I live in Australia, the sale of CBD oil is still under debate with no clear guidelines (at time of writing). I could however promote into the U.S. (some states) via online methods. For this reason, you may even want to start by looking into affiliate marketing rather than committing to an MLM program in short term.
Conclusion
So there you have it, my honest review and appraisal of the Changing The Future Outcome MLM program and hopefully an answer to what is CTFO? I hope it has been of assistance but as usual, if you have any questions or experience with this program please do not hesitate to reach out by commenting below – especially if any of my information is inaccurate.
