PLR Sites Review

PLR Sites Review

Hey guys, and welcome back to Make that Sea Change. As you are all probably aware, one of the main focuses of this site is to assist you in finding good ways to earn money online so that you can fund your own sea change in whatever fashion that may be for you. Those of you familiar with my work will also know that I like to point out what it good and not so good out there so you don’t get burnt with the scams.

Hence, when I come across a site that tells me I can an extra $2k per month in just 3 steps and 15 – 25 mins work, then I am going to check it out. So with that in mind – let’s get stuck into my PLR Sites review.

PLR Sites Review - Sales blurb

Ok, so there are two main things I want to check out here – first, and let’s keep this simple – can I make around $2k per day with 15mins work? And secondly, is it worth the $19.50 I paid for it?

PLR Sites Review - Sales blurb 2

For this review, I will run you through:

  • What it is
  • How it works
  • Pros and Cons
  • Cost
  • My recommendations

Red Flags

At first glance of the sales page, there does appear to be a couple of the red flags that are usually evident with these sorts of programs. These include:

  • No demonstration of what it is that you will actually be getting.
  • Pictures of income statements that demonstrate the money made by the program developer.
  • Sales pitches telling you that you don’t need to worry about any of the ‘proven’ online methods such as SEO, Ads or Social Media.

Ok, so to revisit our original questions:

  1. Can you make an extra $2k per week with these methods? – Eventually yes, but certainly not quickly and not without an extensive Email list or social media following.
  2. Is it worth $19? – Look, I have seen a lot worse and the software does appear to work however in terms of original sales blurb – it is a miss I am afraid.

Anyway, let’s check it out in more detail below…

What is PLR Sites?

PLR Sites Review - Dashboard

So I paid my 19 bucks and once I access the members page, I am presented with a welcome video and the option to create a new PLR site. And after watching the video (which to be honest really doesn’t give you much) it is as I thought, a program that allows you to create your own PLR website to sell pre loaded products.

Note: PLR stands for Private label rights which in short allows you as a marketer to alter existing content- such as articles or videos- and market them as your own.

What do you get?

Once I have clicked on the Add A New Site button from the first dashboard, I now have the option to create my site.

PLR Sites Review - Dashboard 2

I have a number of options here including:

  • Dashboard
  • Payment Integration
  • Autoresponder Integration
  • Tutorials

As this is the most helpful part, I will start with the tutorials first.

Tutorials

PLR Sites Review - Tutorials

The tutorial section consists of a 9 minute overview and 3 x 3min demos of the sections listed above.  The tutorial talks you through all of the points needed but off the bat, it is not really comprehensive enough for newbies.

The three further videos are very quick run throughs of some of the functions provided within the upsells.

PLR Sites Review - Dashboard 2

Here is where I create my website.  It is a subdomain website and there does not appear to be an option to create an option using your own domain.  Through each of the sections I can enter:

  1. Basic Website Information – URL (subdomain), title, keywords and website description.
  2. Visuals – Logos, favicons, font choices and colors .
  3. Social media links – Links to personal social media accounts.

Once I enter this info and hit the Generate button, I have a website that looks as follows:

Once the website has been created, I can then set up the following:

  • Categories
  • Payment plans
  • Compliance pages
  • Advertisement settings
  • Lead settings
  • Customer settings
  • Payment transactions

Payment integration

Enter your PayPal details here.  From what I can tell, this is how you will get paid once someone downloads a product from your site.

Autoresponder Integration

In this section, you can integrate to a number of autoresponders (you will need to set those up separately).

Do I recommend it?

To answer this question, I am going back to the sales blurb in the original email as follows:

– Earns $2k+/mo to start
– Newbie friendly
– 3 steps
– Only takes 15 – 25 mins.

And in short, it will not meet any of these unless you have a good knowledge of traffic generation and a large social media following or email list.  The training videos are very light on – which is common for these types of programs as they want to push you to the upsells – and to be honest, I do think a beginner would struggle to work this out on their own – especially without HTML knowledge.

That said, I would certainly not call it a scam and if you are familiar with the sales of PLR products, then this training could assist you in getting it all started. However if you are looking to turn your interest or passion into an ongoing affiliate marketing business then this program will not cut it for you.

How does it compare to my #1 Recommendation?

As I have said, the program above can certainly be of assistance to those working within the single product world of PLR products – and more power to you. However if you are serious about building a solid and sustainable online business, then I recommend that you give Wealthy Affiliate a try. You will not earn money immediately… But in time you will have a solid, online money making business to call your very own.

Wealthy Affiliate is a comprehensive training, website building (WordPress editor included) and hosting platform that will guide you through the entire online business building process, including Social media and SEO in an easy to follow but comprehensive manner. Hey there, my name is Paul and I am the owner and founder of Make That Sea Change.  I spent 30 years in a cubicle working the 9 to 5 grind and just wanted to live at the beach.  I was lucky enough to achieve that with the help of my wife and our new Pilates studio.

Then I decided to help fund my new sea change with some affiliate marketing.  I joined Wealthy Affiliate, and as they say, the rest is history.
