Hello there sea changers and welcome back – Today I am going to look at a potential money making application within an extremely popular niche with my SiteTravelPro review.  I say interesting as within its sales page it tells me that I can create my very own “self-updating travel website in less than 60 seconds” in 1 click.

So in line with one of the edicts of this site in that I like to point out what it good and not so good out there so you don’t get burnt with the scams, I have paid my  $19 and will check it all out.  Let’s see then if it really is a good way to make some cash online with a travel website.

3. Do I recommend it? – Look, if you run through each of the step you will indeed have a working website up and running.  It is not a scam and the program works, however there are a lot of shortcomings in areas that are critical to success as an affiliate marketer such as SEO and analytics etc.

What is Site Travel Pro?

Once you have made your purchase (and skipped all of the upsells like I did), you are given access to the main membership page where I can create my web site.  The sales page outlines this as a three step process as follows:

Step 1: Login To SiteTravelPro Cloud-based app
Step 2: Enter Your Site Name
Step 3: Watch As The App Instantly Creates A Completely Automated Travel Affiliate Site In Less Than 60 Seconds.

So here I will check out any training options available and then see if I can create my 60 second website.

What do you get?

Within the membership platform, there are three main sections where my content can be accessed. This is what I got…

Training

The training section is found on the left hand side menu and is I am guessing the starting point here.  It contains 8 one – two minute videos that outline the steps to create my website in 60 seconds.

I have completed the training which takes me through the website creation and customization options as well as how to add blogs and advertising to the site.

Website creation

Ok, so this first part is where the 60 second bit comes in.  Once I access the Dashboard, I can click on the Build a New Site button and if I am just creating a sub domain site, then all I need to do is enter a name for it and boom – a website is created.

If however I want to use my own custom domain, or integrate it with a current WordPress site, then everything will take much longer.

From here, it has to be assumed that the 60 second creation timeframe stops here as there is a lot of integration and customisation to undertake before the website is up and running and earning affiliate commissions.

Affiliate settings

The Affiliate Settings section is where you are able to enter your affiliate links that will work within your website.  The sites you can access for affiliate links are:

• Booking.com
• Agoda.com
• Hotels.com

You will need to apply for each of the sites individually and enter your affiliate codes into the page.  Note that you will be required to apply for and be accepted to each program before you can enter your details into the system.  This can be tricky with new sites so make sure you are clear in what you are trying to do.

Blog campaign

Here you can add blog content to your site in order to grow its content and attract traffic.  You can add blog content via:

• Your Own RSS Feed URL
• The Site Traffic Pro Database RSS Feed
• Blog Content that you have created.

Ads manager

Another effective method of monetizing website is to incorporate advertising onto them.  This section allows you to add extra advertising banners or videos via their coding.  These codes can be found on the affiliate member sites of the program of your choosing.

Do I recommend it?

As above, the functionality works and if you follow the steps you can absolutely create yourself a website that can earn affiliate income.  My only real concern here is that as an affiliate marketer, I know that simply creating a website and adding affiliate links alone will not work without some extra work in terms of SEO and the like.

The program is definitely not a scam and my recommendation into using this program is based on the fact that I would suggest attaining further training in regards to affiliate marketing elsewhere.
