Swift Review

Hey guys, and welcome back to Make that Sea Change – as you are all probably aware, one of the main focuses of this site is to assist you in finding good ways to earn money online so that you can fund your own sea change in whatever fashion that may be for you. Those of you familiar with my work will also know that I like to point out what it good and not so good out there so you don’t get burnt with the scams. Hence, when I find a site that tells me that I can tap into a 110 million traffic sources with no website, videos or email list in just 39 seconds, then I am going to try it out. So with that in mind – welcome to my Swift Review.

Swift review - sales pitch

Ok, so there are two main things I want to check out here – first, can I tap into a 110 million traffic sources with no website, videos or email list in just 39 seconds? And secondly, is the $17 I paid for it worth the money?

For this review, I will run you through:

  • What it is
  • How it works
  • Pros and Cons
  • Cost
  • My recommendations

Quick results

Can you tap into a 110 million traffic sources with no website, videos or email list in just 39 seconds? – No

Is it worth the $17? – The software works but is nothing that you cannot get for free online.

Do I recommend it? – translated to “Am I happy with what I have got for my $17?” – No – The strategy is fair, however I would avoid this one.

I will elaborate more on all of this below…

Red Flags

Usually programs of this type with the sorts of headings they have used (110M in traffic in 30 seconds etc.) come with all sorts of red flags and straight off the bat, there are so many of them here that if I wasn’t looking to purchase for the purposes of this review then I would have just closed the tab and got on with my day.

But anyway, these red flags include:

  • Long sales videos with lots of pitches but with no identification of the actual person behind the program (we see the seller, but not the developers).
  • Fake testimonials telling me they made $1000’s in the first month that they owned the program.
  • Constant reminders that “I know you have been scammed in the past, but this is different – this is the real deal”
  • A long story about how the speaker was broke and about to lose his house and marriage until he discovered this method.
  • The video never actually explains what the program is.

Swift review - breakthrough

Anyway, I paid my $$ so let’s check it out…

What is Swift?

Swift review - home

It turns out that Swift is an online PDF and slideshow creation program that turns your blog posts into a PDF. The premise is that you can use this PDF as a means to attract traffic and sales via uploading them to PDF submission sites.

The idea is that PDF ebooks etc. are so popular within these sites that you will enhance your sales by promoting your products within them.

What do you get?

So, with my entry level package I received access to the members area where I there are a number of options that I can work through. These are outlined as follows:

Section 1: Academy

The first section covers the ‘training’ element of the program and comprises of 6 videos of between 1 and 5 minutes in length covering:

  • Introduction
  • Outline of what a PDF file is
  • Outline of what a Slide presentation is
  • Overview of the swift program
  • How to create a PDF campaign
  • How to create a Slide show campaign

Section 2: Traffic Campaigns

Here is where you can create your traffic campaign which is essentially just a text editor that you then turn into a PDF. These can be created in two ways:

  1. From scratch via the text editor.
  2. Import from a published blog post.

I chose the second option as was able to import information into the text editor as below:

From here I can edit and then export to PDF.

Section 3: Slider Campaigns

Swift review - slider editor

Slider campaigns allow for the creation of animated slides that could work as social media posts, YouTube headers and so on. They work in conjunction with your traffic campaign as a means to promote your PDF.

Section 4: Content

When you click on this section, you are transferred to another website where you can access a list of free eBooks, software, videos and so on.

To be honest, I am not sure whether these are options you can promote, copy or simply get ideas from?

Section 5: Spin

This section asks you to enter a document and then hit the ‘spin’ button. I added the content of one of my posts (so I could see what happened as I know the content) and from what I can see, it plagiarizes your content for you.

This may work with the ebooks in section 4 to give you slightly different content for your own eBooks – I think…

Section 6: Automation

I did not purchase the upsell so I cannot see this section

Section 7: Submit

This is where million traffic source promise comes in in that once you have created your PDF, you can submit it to any number of submission sites such as:

  • issuu
  • Gamefront
  • feedbooks
  • etc. etc.

Do I recommend it?

Look, essentially with this program you are paying $17 for a text editor and PDF creator. Uploading to PDF submission sites is free and can certainly be done directly and the text editor does not contain anything that you cannot get for free online via PDF creators and Canva.

The sales pages promise access to 110 million traffic sources with no website, videos or email list in just 39 seconds. Technically the 110M traffic sources is correct as this would be the traffic numbers for the submission sites combined I imagine. However, there is no training on how to develop attractive documents and slider (or even what you are supposed to be marketing for that matter). You don’t; need a website but if you can upload, edit, convert to PDF and then upload to the submission site in 39 seconds, you are a super star!!

In terms of building yourself an ongoing sustainable business, this program will not cut it for you. The premise here can work, but I just can’t see uploading PDFs to submission sites as a solid enough arrangement to think that this is one that is going to build the same long term passive online income that affiliate marketing can bring.

How does it compare to my #1 Recommendation?

Look, the strategy that they discuss here can work. However if you are serious about building a solid and sustainable business, then I recommend that you give Wealthy Affiliate a try. You will not get your content in front of 1.1 million traffic sources in 39 seconds, your first week – or even 30 weeks… But in that time, you will have a solid, online business to call your very own.

Wealthy Affiliate is a comprehensive training, website building (WordPress editor included) and hosting platform that will guide you through the entire online business building process, including Social media and SEO in an easy to follow but comprehensive manner. And best of all, you can join for free and get access to step by step tuition with the tools to develop and host your very own website, help to identify a good niche, 24/7 support and access to some of the best affiliate marketing minds on the planet. Note: If you make a purchase from this page, there is a very good chance that I make a commission from it – these commissions do not increase your sale price. I am not an affiliate of Swift.

Paul and Nic Logo - Make that Sea Change

Hey there, my name is Paul and I am the owner and founder of Make That Sea Change.  I spent 30 years in a cubicle working the 9 to 5 grind and just wanted to live at the beach.  I was lucky enough to achieve that with the help of my wife and our new Pilates studio.

Then I decided to help fund my new sea change with some affiliate marketing.  I joined Wealthy Affiliate, and as they say, the rest is history.

Let me know how I can help you fund your sea change today!
