Let's start with one of the biggest travel gear affiliate sites – Luggagepros.com. Luggagepros.com contains a massive range of travel gear and accessories including:

As the name suggests, Luggage Online is all about the luggage – and lots of it. It carries a massive range of general and specialty luggage with a range too large to list here. It does however provide its products in the following categories:

As with Luggagepros.com, it also provides a great range of travel accessories to cover every need and could certainly be used to support a massive range of problem solving blog posts. This site is however particularly good for those within the backpacker or sport travels niches due to its specialised offerings such as a great range of backpacks and sporting travel cases for skiing, hiking and general outdoors use etc.

Our next all in one travel accessory store is eBags. eBags lists all of the items as per the two programs above – again with all of the top brands included. What sticks out here for affiliates however is its range of electronic accessories including:

These extra options not only allow for extra post fodder but add another dimension to most other travel niches as well – such as highlighting the best headphones to use on a flight you have just sold for example.

Now we step into the higher end of travel accessories with Briggs & Riley. Briggs & Riley's premium products are self branded and come in at price ranges a little higher than most of the others. They deal in mainly luggage, bags and backpacks but also hold a small range of accessories and kits.
This site is a great for use within the luxury travel niche, or as a good high ticket cross sell opportunity for a numerous other travel related sites – for example to go with adults only exclusive cruise or resort type posts and sales.

There is probably not enough within this site to base an entire affiliate marketing business around, however, as per Briggs & Riley above, there are a lot of great high ticket cross selling opportunities within this site. There is also a good range of gift and monogramming options allowing for seasonal promotions as well.

Whilst more of a general ‘outdoors' type shop, Orvis provides a large range of luggage, travel accessories and clothing suitable for pretty much any type of trip you could be writing about on your site. The site is an actual goldmine of items that can be included on any travel niche as an afterthought cross sell or trinket. Some of these include:

- Travel water bottles
- Travel scales
- Compasses
- Atlas' and books
As I have said, this is a great site for any travel niche but also good for some of the more specialised subjects such as fishing, hunting, hiking, camping or sports travel. And if travel s a secondary part of your niche, they also provide access to fishing equipment, hunting gear and pet supplies.

If you are looking to write about what to wear whilst traveling, then have a look at the Global Travel Clothing Company. This is a small site providing a limited range of travel specific jackets and neck pillows.
There is definitely not enough on offer to sustain a travel related affiliate site on its own rather making for great additions to any adventure, backpacking or outdoors travel related posts. And don't forget as another gift idea during the holiday season.

For those of you dealing with anything to to with travel by plane, train or automobile, then I suggest you add BOSE to your site as a good cross selling or high ticket item. BOSE deal with, amongst other things, headphones – more specifically, noise canceling headphones – a must for those long haul or frequent business and personal travelers.
Again, you will not be able to build a complete affiliate site around this (unless you deal with electronics) but if you have traveled anywhere by plane recently, you will know that these are very popular items for many many travelers hence a great cross selling opportunity for your site.

9. Luggage Forward
In this day and age of airline luggage restrictions, fees, levies and penalties (not to mention lost luggage), Luggage Forward is another little add on site that would not be out of place on any travel related affiliate marketing site.
Basically what happens is that you book your flights and pack your bags as usual. But rather than taking them with you to the airport, you get them picked up by Luggage Forward who deliver them to wherever you are going thereby saving time at the airport – and in most cases a lot of money in excess luggage costs – there is also a $500 guarantee per piece. This site would fit extremely well with any booking site as well as “how to avoid…” posts for travel bloggers etc.

And finally, for those readers of yours that wish to travel with their pets, you can look to add PetTravelStore.com to your site as well. They offer a large range of pet related travel products and services including:

- Pet Travel Products:

AS with some of the others listed here, this site is probably not big enough to build your own affiliate marketing business around however it provides great cross sell and add on opportunities for just about any travel related niche that we have discussed to date. There are also some great high ticket opportunities here as well for those in the pet or luxury travel niches.

How to find your own affiliate programs
As stated earlier, by outlining the sites above I have really just tried to give you a good cross section of the types of programs that are out there by listing the really good ones in each ‘category'. That does not mean that you cannot find affiliate programs that better suit what it is that you are trying to do within this space – especially as I could never even begin to cover every travel accessory related requirement or sub niche in the one post (especially when it comes to luggage). Luckily for us, there is a simple way to find these programs online.
All you need to do is enter “affiliate: niche type” into your search engine (substituting ‘niche type‘ for whatever product it is that you are choosing to sell).
There are travel related affiliate programs for everything else that we have listed at the top of this page as well – you will just need to have a look around until you find one or two that suit your site. Once you have completed your searches, you can look through and find programs that:
- Relate to your niche/problems that you are solving.
- Have quality products – your brand can be severely damaged if you promote poor quality products.
- Have solid payment and customer service arrangement.
- Pay decent commissions.
- Have good testimonials covering commission payouts and quality of product.
In most cases, you will need to apply for the program before you are allowed to promote their products – don’t take this step lightly or you will be rejected. Affiliate programs will generally want to know:
- Your website name.
- Traffic levels.
- Why you want to join – (so I can make money by selling your suitcases is unfortunately not generally a good enough answer).
- How you plan to promote their products.
