Hey there sea changers, and welcome back to my series of MLM reviews. Today I am going to check out another relatively new player within the CBD Oil market with my Prime My Body MLM Review. CBD Oils and their related products are a booming industry and as they gain more interest and become legalised in more and more countries around the globe, there is a definite market for these products and one definitely worthwhile checking out. So on that note, what is the Prime My Body MLM Program all about? Let's have a look and find out…
What is MLM?
Multi-level marketing (MLM) programs are the mainstay of the ‘party plan' world of products such as Tupperware, Mary Kay and Amway etc. and, recently, becoming more and more prevalent within the CBD oils market. One of the reasons for this is that much of the sales and marketing for MLMs is now being managed online – alleviating the need to run parties – and, more importantly, not hassle everybody you know to join (you can of course, but you don't have to).

The ‘multi level' aspects of MLM come from its hierarchical nature in which you make commissions based not only on those that you sell to, but also the sales of those whom you ‘sign' into membership arrangements as well.
In short, the process works as follows:
- You join the program, either via referral from another person (known as your up line) or directly through their website.
- You promote the products of the company via parties, workshops or online.
- As you make sales, you offer incentives to your customers to sign up as a member of the program (there are different names for this but they all mean the same thing).
- That new member is then placed ‘underneath' you in a hierarchical arrangement (known as your down line).
- You, and a number of levels of your up line, then gain extra commissions for everything they sell as well.
- If they manage to refer their customers into memberships, they also become a member of your down line allowing you to make up line commissions as well.
The number of levels of your up and down lines will vary depending on the program you have joined. Commission rates will also change as your down line grows or contracts and many will also offer other incentives such as total company sales percentages and/or access to membership prizes as your own business grows.
Who are Prime My Body?
Prime My Body – they also call it PMB – was founded in 2016 by Paul Rogers and Brian Cummings and is based in Carrollton Texas. PMB outlines itself as a ‘health, wellness and lifestyle company that embraces the movement to raise awareness on the importance of living a clean and healthy lifestyle” and uses the word ‘love' as a guiding principle.
What do they Sell?
PMB offers a smallish range of CBD Oil based products based on ‘serious science' around brain research and the effects of Cannabinoid Supplements on the human system. Their range of products includes:
- Focus – Mind and Body Hemp Extract
- Calm – Rest and Relax Hemp Extract
- Nox – Hemp-Infused Skin Rejuvenation Serum
- Body Therapy – Muscle and Joint Salve
- Paws – Wellness Support for Cats & Dogs
- Prime – Protein Superfood
- Hydrate Pure – Hemp Infused Moisturiser
Prices are probably on the higher side of the market being slightly more expensive that its rival Hempworx and Kannaway CBD products. Although based on the high commission rates outlined below, this could just mean greater opportunity to earn.
MLM Program outline
The Prime My Body MLM program calls their members Affiliates who from first look, appear to join a fairly modern platform with most of the commission and bonus options that are common within the CBD niche. Their compensation plan is available in video form on their website with a PDF copy found via a simple web search… Let's check out the basics.
Base Commission rate: 25%
Down line commission rates: 10% – 20% to 7 levels (1st generation (down line level 1) rates 20%).
Minimum monthly spend to qualify for commissions
Many of the commissions and bonuses available within the PMB Compensation plan are reliant of the Affiliate being both Active and Qualified:
- To be considered ‘Active', PMB Affiliates are required purchase at least USD$89 worth of product within a single order that generates volume. This can be made up of personal or customer purchases. Note: this must be one order – two smaller orders cannot be tallied to meet requirements.
- To be considered ‘Qualified', Affiliates are required to personally sponsor 2 Affiliates who become Active with one on the left leg and one on the right.
Payment terms: Every 2 weeks.
Application required?: Yes, personal and payment information on website form.
Purchase requirements to join: Yes:
- Membership joining cost $39 to active the Affiliate's personal website
- Initial Product packages are available at time of sign up ranging in price from $200 to $1500 – these are not however mandatory.
Marketing materials provided: Personal website, back office, sales app, training programs
Base commissions are paid on the actual dollar amount of the sale. However, as with the bigger programs, some down line commissions and rankings are determined by the total Rewards Points (RP) that an Affiliate and their downline generate in a calendar month. Most MLM programs manage it this way in that commissions are paid on the points assigned to a product rather than the entire sales total. For example, if, as it appears to be within the PMB Program, a product retails for $100 and has a 50 RP rating (these generally vary from product to product and the currency of the sale) then the commission is calculated on $50 of the purchase amount only. So if a commission rate for a product is 20% then it will generate a $10 payment to the sponsor (i.e. 20% of the $50 commissionable amount). Clear as mud? Hopefully this will become a little clearer as we run through the payment methods.
Note: Once a Sponsor builds their team to 4 Active Affiliates, the RP points assigned to sales increases from 50% to 80% of the product purchase price.

How can I get paid?
The Prime My Body Compensation Plan promotes 8 ways in which Affiliates can make money when they promote and sell products via their personalised website. These are quite standard for a MLM program within this niche albeit with what appears to be slightly higher down line commissions compared to many others I have seen. Let's check them out…
1. Retail Profit
Retail Profits are the base profit earned by product sales to customers or Affiliates via their personalized websites. In terms of this program, Affiliates earn a commission of up to 25% of the purchase price if done so at retail prices.
Affiliates must be ‘Active' to qualify for retail sales commissions.
2. Customer Acquisition Bonus
As with many programs, new customers who don't wish to go down the business building Affiliate path may choose to sign up as Preferred Customers (PCs). Signing up this way gives them access to the same discounts on purchase without any of the income producing processes that are allocated to Affiliates. Some examples of this are as follows:
Affiliates earn a 25% Customer Acquisition Bonus on the first order placed by a PC that they have referred. All subsequent orders placed by that same PC will generate a Residual Rewards commission (see below) as well as generate RP that will go to the Affiliate’s Pay leg at 50% of the dollar amount. Affiliates must be ‘Active' to qualify for the Customer Acquisition Bonus.
3. Fast Builder Reward
As is common with many MLM arrangements, the Fast Builder Reward is designed to incentivise the sale of Initial Product Packages (IPP) to new Affiliates that are signed in to to the program. In this case, sponsors will earn a 25% commission on an IPP purchase that a new Affiliate makes as their FIRST purchase.
Affiliates must be ‘Active' and their new signings must buy the IPP as their first purchase only.
4. Team Building Rewards
As mentioned above, Affiliates become ‘qualified' with an Active Business Center once they have attracted at least one new Affiliate to their left and right teams (or legs). When an Active Business Center accumulates 200 RPs on each side, a $20 Team Building Rewards is credited (known as a cycle). Each time a cycle is generated (i.e. another 200 RP is added to both legs), then another $20 is paid.
Affiliates must be Active and Qualified to earn Team Build Reward Payments. There is no limit on the amount of cycle payments that can be generated within the Affiliate's down line each month.
5. Group Volume Commissions
Whilst this one is technically not a payment as such, it does allow for greater earning capabilities within the next two payment options as they directly effect Rank . As personally enrolled Affiliates that are a part of the Sponsor's downline start to build their own Active Business Centers, their down line structures are incorporated into ‘Groups'. 50% of the Group RP totals are then allocated to the Group Volume (GV) requirements of the Sponsoring Affiliate to assist them in achieving their higher rank.
Sponsoring Affiliates can separate downline Affiliates into as many groups as they like.
6. Residual Rewards
Residual rewards are PMB's version of the stock standard Unilevel commission arrangements common to most MLM programs. Commissions are paid down to 7 levels on all RP volume generated within the down line of personally sponsored Affiliates. Rates are as follows:
Affiliates must be Active and Qualified to earn Residual Rewards.
7. Matching Bonus
The Matching Bonus is calculated against 50% of the Team Building Rewards generated by the personally sponsored Groups of an Affiliate. As with the Residual Rewards, these are paid to 7 levels based on Rank as follows:
Affiliates must be Active and Qualified to earn Matching Bonus payments.
8. Leadership Bonus
The Leadership Bonus is a common MLM payment option in that the higher ranked members can earn monthly bonus payments for maintaining their status within the program. In this case, Affiliates that achieve the rank of Diamond through Black Diamond will earn the following for each month that they maintain that rank:
Affiliates must be Active and Qualified to earn Leadership Bonus payments.
Ranking structure
As you have probably noticed, some of the commissions and bonuses paid out above are reliant upon the ‘rank' that Affiliates are assigned within the PMB MLM program. This ranking structure is quite straight forward with commission qualifications rising based on total monthly RP, the number of underlings within their down line and of course, how much they sell/purchase in a calendar month. Rank requirements are as follows:
What is good about it?
So, after a good look around the site and looking at all the options I could find, I do like the following:
- Commission rates at all levels are much higher than most other programs.
- CBD oil based products are a booming niche.
- Most Information in regards to their MLM program is comprehensive and easy to find.
- They have a large range of commission and bonus earning options.
What is no so good about it?
There are also some things to be aware of including:
- RP calculation is a little higher than other programs – most run at USD$1 per point – PMB is around USD$2.
- Entry costs are evident (although not excessive)
How much can you make?
PMB does not provide any average income table or information for its program. As with most MLM programs however, the percentage of members making the upper rank levels is expected to be low (usually less than 1%). Below is a blurb from the PMB site itself:
My final thoughts
Look, MLM is not an easy platform to make money in. That said, the Prime My Body MLM program does seem to be on par with most others within this niche (such as HB Naturals and Hempworx) with ample opportunity to earn if you can attract and nurture a down line. There is plenty of information available in regards to the commission and bonus structure so if you are passionate about CBD oils and like this brand, then to be honest I cannot see much in there that would cause me to warn you off.
The joining process is quite simple however there are some immediate financial requirements via a membership joining fee however joining kit requirements are not mandatory. Once you have joined, there are not the usual financial pressures of needing to make minimum personal purchases in order to qualify for commissions as long as you can make them within your down line. Although to be honest, I think if you are going to succeed in any MLM program, you will need to be intricately aware of the products you are promoting – meaning I think some purchases will be necessary – especially if customer purchases alone are not enough to generate ‘Active' status.
I was unable to locate any negative reviews in terms of poor quality products for this site however there was some complaints about the MLM program itself in terms of refunds and non-payment of commissions – although it was not really anything that is uncommon in regards to MLM programs.
CBD oil legalities
Finally, before you rush of into this program, I would advise that you do some solid research into the market in which you plan to promote these products. For example, where I live in Australia, the sale of CBD oil is still under debate with no clear guidelines (at time of writing). I can however promote into the U.S. (some states) via online methods. For this reason, you may even want to start by looking into affiliate marketing rather than committing to an MLM program in short term.
Conclusion
So there you have it, my honest review and appraisal of the Prime My Body MLM program. I hope it has been of assistance but as usual, if you have any questions or experience with this program please do not hesitate to reach out by commenting below – especially if any of my information is inaccurate.
