In fact, there is so much there that we could not even begin to cover everything here but their main categories include:

They stock all of the most well known skate brands and for those working across a number of areas, surfing gear as well.

Their main catalogue is similar to the first two sites listed here – i.e. they have everything you could possibly need to get out on your board including:

- Cruisers
- Accessories
- Clothing
This list really doesn't do the site justice however as per above, there is nothing you could need that is not found on this site.
Again this site could definitely be utilised to build a generalist business around as well as a great addition to the professional, outdoors and child activity niches too.

Summit Board Co. is a cool little site that has “borrowed the best of longboard design and shrunk it down into a compact 19″ board”. They even comment on their site that this doesn't make any sense however they have made a short board that incorporates all of the good aspects of a long board that a traditional skate board does such as wide trucks and wheels, soft rubber wheels for various terrain types, and high speed bearings.
This site is probably not one that you would build an entire affiliate marketing business around however it would be a great companion/add on to just about any skateboard related niche possible – and maybe even for those dealing with those new to skateboarding or for children as well.

Whilst not a site aimed solely at skateboarders, the Tactics site contain such a large range of products in this area that they have to be included here. In fact, there is enough here for beginners up to experts alike in all aspects of the skateboarding niche including:

- Gear and Accessories
- Protective gear
- Shoes
- Clothing
- Books and DVDs
- Magazines and stickers

And even then the list above does not really do the site justice. And for those covering a larger range of options, there is a range just as big within the snowboard niche as well.
There is absolutely enough here to base an entire affiliate marketing business around however their offerings would certainly be a great addition to any skateboarding, snowboarding, street clothes and paraphernalia sites as well. Oh, and there is camping gear and sunglasses etc. too.

Grassracks is another smaller site that gives skateboarders an option to store their boards and decks with a range of bamboo racks that can be installed on a wall. As with the site above, they just don't deal with skateboards with racks for surfboards, kayaks, bikes and snow skis as well with each rack made to sustainable and ethical standards.
This would make a great addition to any skating, bike, surfing, skiing or kayaking site aimed at professionals and hobbyists alike as well as anyone working within the eco-friendly side of things as well.

And for those using this option as part of a larger site aimed at electric single person transportation options, they also include:

Obviously this site would work best as an add on to any skateboard related site or as above, within anything to do with electric single person vehicles.

And finally we finish with an electric skateboard site with a difference in Maxfind. Built on a mission of “making commuting easy and fun”, they offer a range of electric skateboards and scooters that “are safe, reliable, convenient and fun travel experience and lifestyle for users around the world”.
This includes skateboards for all levels of experience and travel needs and all the accompanying accessories as well.
Due to the size of this site, you would probably not be able to base an affiliate program on this one however there are obvious add on opportunities for all spectrums of use levels and needs within the skateboarding or scooter niches. There is also a great blog here too.

Amazon Associates
Alternatively, should you wish to set up your site up with a range from a few different brands or companies on the same site then you can do so via Amazon. Here you can access to a good range of amazon skateboard affiliate sites as well. So if you wish, join the Amazon Associates program, locate the best products relevant to your site within Amazon itself and you can post links on your own site as per below:
Amazon's commission rates are not too bad and some prefer this avenue due to the sheer amount of traffic and trustworthiness that comes with a company site of this size.
What do we mean by skateboarding?
Ok, and I will try and get the terminology right here or my son will never let me hear the end of it, but a skateboard is essentially a long piece of wood with four wheels that the rider stands on as it moves (how what that?).
All jokes aside though, skateboarding is big business with enthusiasts spending a lot of time and money looking at new wheels, decks and trucks (axels) plus all of the ‘cool' accessories that come with that.
So with that in mind, there is quite a lot that we could look into when it comes to Skateboards so for this post, I have tried to cover a good cross section of skateboard affiliate program options covering:
- Boards
- Board parts
- Accessories
- Clothing
- Electric options
And of course anything else you can think of when it comes to making money with skateboarding… So, if you are looking to set up an online business in this space, it think this an area that could work really well.
What can affiliate marketers promote?
There are essentially no real barriers to what affiliate marketers can promote when it comes to skateboards. There are however some things to be aware of as you run your eye over skateboard related affiliate program possibilities that may suit your site. These are:
- Know your audience, some are looking for specifics and want the best whilst others are hoping to just get their equipment on a budget. Choose your affiliate sites accordingly.
- Hard core skateboarders and/or professionals will not take risks if they don't trust you or your affiliate site. Make sure the programs you choose are reputable and have good recourse options if the purchaser is not happy.
- Those purchasing as a new hobby, or for family members etc. will need to know exactly what they need and that the products you are promoting will fit in with their requirements. Make sure your programs can provide the products to back up the information that you are covering.
How to find your own affiliate programs
As stated earlier, by outlining the sites above I have really just tried to give you a good cross section of the types of programs that are out there by listing the really good ones in each ‘category'. That does not mean that you cannot find affiliate programs that better suit what it is that you are trying to do within this space especially as I could never even begin to cover every skateboard related requirement or sub niche in the one post. Luckily for us, there is a simple way to find these programs online.
All you need to do is enter “affiliate: niche type” (e.g. affiliate skateboards) into your search engine (substituting ‘niche type‘ for whatever product it is that you are choosing to sell).
There are skateboarding related affiliate programs for everything else that we have listed at the top of this page as well – you will just need to have a look around until you find one or two that suit your site. Once you have completed your searches, you can look through and find programs that:
- Relate to your niche/problems that you are solving.
- Have quality products – your brand can be severely damaged if you promote poor quality products.
- Have solid payment and customer service arrangement.
- Pay decent commissions.
- Have good testimonials covering commission payouts and quality of product.
In most cases, you will need to apply for the program before you are allowed to promote their products – don’t take this step lightly or you will be rejected. Affiliate programs will generally want to know:
- Your website name.
- Traffic levels.
- Why you want to join – (so I can make money by selling your skateboard wheels is unfortunately not generally a good enough answer).
- How you plan to promote their products.
