Stats show that people will spend money on home decor online so as long as you are meeting their needs and solving problems, then you are on the right track. And to give you a boost, let's have a look at 12 programs that I have found below:
1. The Home Depot
Ok, let's start with the largest Home Improvement retailer in United States in The Home Depot . They probably don't need a lot of introduction however for home decorators and professionals alike, this is a one stop shop for absolutely anything that you could need. I would not even begin to list all of their available items however they do stock ranges within the following home decor categories:
- Home Accents
- Room Dividers
- Kids and Nursery
- Holiday Decorations
- Artificial Plants and Flowers
- Fragrance and Candles
- Decorative Storage
- Decorative Mirrors
- Home Office
- Area Rugs and Mats

The list above is obviously on top of their other range of products including decorative requirements such as hardware, paint, Smart Home technology, furniture and appliances. Their commission rates are not as high as some others but there is just so much there that you could definitely base a decent affiliate marketing business on this site alone.

WayFair is another one-stop-shop for everything Home Decor with a product range way too large to try and list here. As with the program above however, they have a good number of products across a number of niches including:

- Renovation
- Appliances
- Pets
The list above really doesn't do the site justice however this is another one that could be utilised to base a complete home decor affiliate business around or as an addition to any niche category listed above. They stock a lot of well-known brands with a great pictorial room ideas section to assist with post and product review ideas.

Pier 1 is another cool site for amateurs and professionals alike with a range of imported offerings designed to be “inspiring, fun, colorful, creative and definitely out of the ordinary”. Again, there are way too many items to try and list them all here but their categories include:

- Dining & Entertaining
- Pillows & Cushions
- Decor
- Lighting & Candles

Again, there is definitely enough on this site to build an online business around or it would certainly make a great addition to just about any other online business aimed at ant of the above categories. There is also a massive section outlining looks and trends with ideas and how to's as well.

One Kings Lane offers a nice range of home decor aimed at the slightly higher end of the market with “furnishings, design services, and inspiration to help people live their style and create a home they love”. There stock range includes name-brand and vintage:
- Furniture

- Lighting
- Bedding and Mattresses
- Tabletop
- Decor
Their offerings also include exclusive products designed in-house making this another good site to build an affiliate business around or as a higher ticket addition to any other listed here. They also offer a personalised design service as we all as home tours, designer tips and product sourcing for trade professionals.

Another all encompassing home decor site to take a look at is Zanui. Promoting themselves as “Australia's online destination for furniture and homewares”, Zanui offers over 20,000 products available across over 500 brands including:
- Furniture
- Bed and Bath
- Kitchen
- Tableware
- Decor
- Lighting
- Rugs
- Baby and Kids
The company operates under the theory that “decorating your home should be fun” and with so much to choose from, this site could also form a great base for any affiliate marketing business. They also offer the ability to shop by style (coastal Bohemian, modern rustic for example) allowing for some great feature posts within your site.

Now let's narrow things down a little starting with MAT Living. MAT Living is a “specialty rug store to find your favorite area carpet” offering a collection of contemporary, luxury and vintage rugs to fit any home décor. These are available in a number of variations and styles including:
- Contemporary
- Hide
- Luxury
- Moroccan
- Shaggy
- Traditional
- Vintage
And for those working within the accessories niche, there is a great range of pillows and poufs as well.
There is probably not enough here to base a full affiliate business upon however this one would really work well in any niche to do with home decoration, interior design or specialty room arrangement. And to assist, there is also the option for customisation options to discuss with your readers too.

bseid (Blue Sky Environments Interior Decor) are a smaller site created by a mother and daughter designer team that describes themselves as “admirers and purveyors of unique interior decor”. That said, their range size certainly does not fit into the ‘small' category with products available within the following areas:
- Furniture
- Decor
- Lighting
- Linens and Pillows
- Walls and Windows
- Floors
With a product range aimed at the “young at heart, the workaholic or the domestic goddess”, this site could really work well for those in the ‘customised' interior design niche. To assist with this, the site also offers a great array of assistance and tools by way of blogs, style guides and seasonal advice.

As the name suggests, Rug Source offer a large array (over 11,000) of Oriental, Persian, Modern, Antique and Floor Rugs available in a variety of stunning colors, patterns and textures.
Their product line is probably not large enough to sustain an affiliate marketing business on its own however it would be a great addition to any home decor, flooring or renovation type niche. Their website offers products at up to 80% off of retail prices also making it a good one for budget renovation niche sites as well.

Our next site, MiracleSofa, proudly state that they are happy to be “the World’s Biggest Sofa Cover Geeks” with a range of protective covers for the home including:
- Sofa and sofa cushion covers
- Dining chair covers
- Transparent furniture scratch guards
All products come in a range of sizes and colours to suit and match most home styles and requirements.
Again there is probably not enough to base an affiliate business on however add it to any home decor, renovation or even furniture based niche as well. The site includes a decent size guide to assist with your posts as well as a great furniture restoration blog too.

This is a cool little site and would make a great addition to any home decor, restoration or interior design niche as well as those looking to add to a wedding or gift related site as well. As an added bonus for affiliate marketers, their blog provides information on other avenues such as where to buy cleaning supplies and cost effective home decor options.

Curtain Wonderland, as the name suggests, is a large, Australian based site offering a huge array of window coverings such as:

- Vertical blinds
- Sheer curtains
- Retractable awning
- Roman blinds
- Curtains
- Window shutters
- Blackout curtains
The added advantage here is in the fact the not only is the range of products listed above so large, but there is also a great range of other home decor related products such as:
- Bed linen
- Cushions
- Artificial Flowers
- Clocks
- Candles
- Fragrance diffusers.
Even though the site is so extensive, there is probably not a big enough array to sustain an affiliate marketing site on its own, however it would certainly make a great addition to any mainstream home decor, renovation or interior design niche.

12. Hardware World
And just to finish up on a different angle, we have Hardware World. The reason is that for many of the home decoration projects undertaken (hanging pictures, building small furniture etc.), there is generally a need for some sort of tool to assist with the job. Hardware world has all of the tools required within an online ‘home tools‘ section allowing for a great match between the products being discussed (in the programs above), and the tools required to complete the task at hand.
Unless you are in the hardware niche itself (which would make this a great site to build your business around), I would see this being a must add to any home decor or home renovation niche in a ‘To do that, you will need this' inclusion in just about any how to post that you would write.

Amazon Associates
Alternatively, should you wish to set up your site up with a range from a few different brands or companies on the same site then you can do so via Amazon. Amazon provides access to a good range of home decor products and has a fairly good affiliate program as well. So if you wish, join the Amazon Associates program, locate the best products relevant to your site within Amazon itself and you can post links on your own site as well.
Amazon's commission rates are not too bad and some prefer this avenue due to the sheer amount of traffic and trustworthiness that comes with a company site of this size.

What can you sell within the home decor niche?
The online sale of home decor is a popular option with possibilities amongst all levels from home owners to professional interior designers alike. Products that can be sold within this niche include decorative items – pillows, rugs etc., specialized non-standard furniture, interior design, hardware and tools and even lessons for those wanting to make their own stuff. And most importantly, surfing falls within the lucrative world of hobbies ad home improvement where we know people will spend cash.
How to find your own affiliate programs
As stated earlier, by outlining the sites above I have really just tried to give you a good cross section of the types of programs that are out there by listing the really good ones in each ‘category'. That does not mean that you cannot find affiliate programs that better suit what it is that you are trying to do within this space especially as I could never even begin to cover every home decor requirement or sub niche in the one post. Luckily for us, there is a simple way to find these programs online.
All you need to do is enter “affiliate: niche type” into your search engine (substituting ‘niche type‘ for whatever product it is that you are choosing to sell).
There are home decor affiliate programs for just about every niche that you can think of – you will just need to have a look around until you find one or two that suit your site. Once you have completed your searches, you can look through and find programs that:
- Relate to your niche/problems that you are solving.
- Have quality products – your brand can be severely damaged if you promote poor quality products.
- Have solid payment and customer service arrangement.
- Pay decent commissions.
- Have good testimonials covering commission payouts and quality of product.
In most cases, you will need to apply for the program before you are allowed to promote their products – don’t take this step lightly or you will be rejected. Affiliate programs will generally want to know:
- Your website name.
- Traffic levels.
- Why you want to join – (“so I can make money by selling your canvas paintings” is unfortunately not generally a good enough answer).
- How you plan to promote their products.
